*Photobiosafety checked according to DIN EN 62471:2009-03The light sources shall be assessed for different hazards:
UV actinic hazard to the eyes and skin; UV-A hazard to the eyes; retinal photochemical hazard (blue light hazard); retinal photochemical hazard - small source; retinal thermal hazard;Thermal retinal hazards - weak visual stimuli; eye IR hazards; skin thermal hazards
For all types of hazards, measurement methods and beam density and radiation intensity limits exist. of which the lamps can be classified into risk groups (RG).
The illuminants (Leds) of our diagnostic lights are classified as follows:
Warm white LED = RG 0 / There is no risk. There is no risk of damage to the eye, even when looking permanently towards the light source (unlimited exposure time)
White LED= RG 1/ There is a low risk. Damage to the eye does not occur, even in the case of rigid vision towards the light source of limited duration (limited exposure time 4 minutes).
